A Girl Can Dream: In Prada Leopard

Oh the feel of a brand new pair of Pradas. Prada "Camel Leopard Print Pony Hair Pumps", that is. They are so um... vampy. 40s/50s glamour is alive and kickin'. Hello crop pants, pencil skirt. Hi ya' skinny jeans and hem tied cargoes. Patricia Fields would slap those on Carrie Bradshaw in a second. Love the gold piping around the edges. And the strap over the vamp. These shoes rule. And for a measly $556.00 at Bluefly.com, who can resist? Let's get em'.

Alternately...

For those who want to live the dream now and save up for the big one later, Nine West "Doniella" and "Liatris" also Nine West, are good alternatives. And contribute their own flavor to the mix.

Doniella $82.95 at Zappos has extra edge with the criss-cross strap come buckled vamp. Same looks can apply, maybe a long tunic and jeans. It can add a little downtown to whatever look.

While the Liatris $89.00 at Nine West.com, what can I say? Not only is it an alternative, but a brilliant look on it's own. Elegant in it's simplicity, but winks at you with the covered stack only slightly revealed at the "peek-a-boo" toe. Same looks with a little party girl mixed in for spice. Yum...
